The documentary film tells the story of Brunello Cucinelli—humanist entrepreneur, founder of the company that bears his name, and a symbol of Italian excellence worldwide—who has united work and philosophy. In the cast, Saul Nanni plays a young Brunello Cucinelli. The film also features Francesco Cannevale, Francesco Ferroni, Emma Fatone, and Beatrice Carlani. Blending documentary and fiction, Brunello, the Courteous Visionary retraces the places and defining moments of Brunello Cucinelli’s life: from a rural childhood to the village of Solomeo, transformed into a symbol of humanistic capitalism. Testimonies, archival footage, and personal memories portray a man who, from humble beginnings, built a world-renowned company while holding fast to the values of dignity, beauty, and social justice. The story ends with the awareness that dreams—nurtured with courage—are the true force that shapes destiny.

They love each other in a provocative, sensual way—until something unexpected happens. The passion they shared has vanished, both inside and outside the frame. Within the confines of four walls, something has disappeared, but no matter how hard they try, it’s impossible to name it—impossible to heal it. — creative fixes for technical problems, technical fixes for creative ones —
Cinema • Engineer
My name is Mattia Meloni (Met) and Studio Stage is my boutique studio founded in 2017 — I'm a film editor, colorist and finishing artist based between Turin and Berlin. I work across commercials, documentaries and series, shaping stories with rhythm and clarity and carrying them all the way to the final pixels. My approach mixes taste and craft with a slightly obsessive respect for workflow: clean timelines, disciplined color science, and invisible VFX when needed. When I’m on set, I support productions as DIT / data manager to keep footage safe and the pipeline predictable. I also teach post‑production at Polytechnic University of Turin (where I graduated in Cinema Engineering)— 500+ students so far — because teaching forces you to understand what you’re doing (and because I genuinely like watching people level up).
Taste • Craft • Reliability
I keep workflows calm, specs clean, and taste in service of the image. I protect the director and DoP’s choices through edit, color, and finishing. I handle versioning, notes, and approvals with speed and clarity. I deliver masters and exports with a conform- and QC-first mindset—no surprises at the end. And I bring a DIT/dailies sensibility that keeps color and editorial consistent from the start. I’m Resolve-first, and I move seamlessly across Adobe Creative Cloud when needed. The goal stays the same: protect the image and deliver clean, consistent masters.
Story & Structure
I approach every project as a narrative problem: what does the audience need to feel, and when? Even the most technical choices — pacing, transitions, color, sound — are story decisions in disguise.
Editing
Editing is where meaning happens. I love finding structure in messy reality (documentary), and precision in tight formats (commercials). Rhythm, intention, and emotional logic first; tools and tricks second.
Color Grading
Color is both taste and math. I design looks, match cameras, and deliver consistent masters for web, broadcast, and cinema. Whether it’s clean and modern or textured and filmic, the grade should serve the story — not compete with it.
Workflow
A good pipeline is invisible. I help teams avoid chaos with sensible naming, proxy strategies, color management, versioning, and delivery specs — so creativity doesn’t get eaten by technical debt.
DIT
On set I focus on reliability: media management, checksums, backups, and clean hand‑off to post. When the production needs it, I handle look management (LUTs/grades) so the creative intent survives the journey from set to edit to final grade.
VFX / Finishing
I build shots that don’t call attention to themselves: cleanup, screen inserts, rig removal, beauty work when appropriate, and seamless composites. The goal is simple: keep the audience inside the story, not looking for the stitch.
Sound Prep
I’m not just cutting pictures: I prep sound with the same care. Clean dialogue, solid temp design, and a mix‑friendly timeline make the final mix faster, cheaper, and better.
Teaching
I teach post‑production to students and professionals, translating complex workflows into practical steps. The mission: empower people to finish real projects with confidence — not just pass tutorials.
